The 14.000 sqm 5 floor building offers 213 parking spots and should be refurbished soon. Architecture firm Lamela will be in charge of the refurbishment, which should improve the building’s energy performance to Class A and guarantee the LEED certification.
The information was advanced this Tuesday in a release made available at the Comisión Nacional de Mercado de Valores, which further informed that Árima had the support in this operation of EY, Colliers and Savills Aguirre Newman. The identity of the seller was not disclosed.
In order to achieve its goal of «creating a balanced portfolio in line with its business plan», Árima will start by incorporating this building into its portfolio and it will, in the future, keep «acquiring first rate assets, at competitive prices and with a high potential for revaluation».
It should be noted that this was Árima’s first acquisition after the capital increase process through which it trebled its size, incorporating fund Ivanhoé Cambridge as its reference shareholder.
