The decision was approved this Tuesday in a shareholders’ meeting and it aims at carrying out new acquisitions in the future, according to Spanish newspaper Expansión.
The REIT will issue around 10 million shares at a nominal value of 10 euro per share on the Madrid Stock Exchange. These new shares will be destined for new investors, since the associates did not solicit a preferential right to them.
This is not the first capital increase Árima carries out this year. The same newspaper recalled that in April, the REIT concluded a similar process with which it received 40 million euro.
