In order to proceed with these developments, the developer has already advanced with the purchase of two parcels which, however, are still in due diligence, according to the company’s CEO Sven Schoel in a statement to Spanish daily newspaper Eje Prime.
The two units should be ready to be occupied in 2022. According to the same newspaper, the one located in Seville will have 100 thousand sqm and the one located in Malaga will have 50 thousand sqm.
In terms of the company’s housing development activity, Sven Schoel advanced that between this year and the next AQ Acentor should deliver 1.030 housing units and he is confident that it will be possible to recover from the sales lockdown caused by the crisis, within the next few months.
Nevertheless, in order to face the current pandemic crisis, AQ Acentor should reinforce its bet on the rental housing market, since «the demand for housing continues. What changed is people’s capacity to buy», commented Sven Schoel in an interview in May to newspaper Expansión.
