The asset is located at El Prat de Llobregat, in Barcelona, it has more than 150.000 sqm and is Amazon’s main distribution platform in Southern Europe. Amazon will remain as tenant and pay an annual rent of 5.7 million euro, according to Expansión.
This deal is part of a larger portfolio the fund acquired, including other industrial assets from Amazon in Paris and Bristol, which represent a 416 million euro investment.
The operation is carried out a few days after it become public that Amazon also placed its Seville logistic complex, the largest logistic centre in Spain and still under construction, on the market. According to El Confidencial, the Seville complex might be sold for around 200 million euro.
