According to information collected from consultant Worx, AM Alpha paid around 55 million euro for this retail asset.
The retail park “BPlanet” is a reinforced concrete construction at highest standards built by a French construction company in 2010 and contains 35,369 sqm lettable area and 1,710 parking spaces. The BREEAM certified building is 98% let to 73 tenants. Anchor tenants are national and international sector leaders as AKI (Leroy Merlin – hardware store), Decathlon (sportswear), Jumbo (Auchan – consumer market) as well as national and international F&B.
For AM alpha this is the second acquisition in Portugal and corresponds perfectly to the company’s strategy to buy properties with core to value-add risk-return profile in strong European economies. In summer 2018, AM alpha purchased the “Edificio Mapfre” in the heart of Lisbon, which is currently undergoing a renovation and re-letting process.
