Real estate asset and credit management company Altamira Asset Management Portugal sold Quinta da Princesa, in Sintra’s historical centre, to a foreign investor.
The first traces of this palace date back to the 14th century, within a terrain with more than 4.000 sqm, and a 1.000 sqm gross private area. The terrain includes the Quinta da Princesa palace, a lookout, stables, greenhouse and a garden by Wenceslau Cifka.
Eduardo Cerqueira, Altamira Portugal’s CEO, highlighted in a release that «this transaction is a positive sign the real estate market is transmitting us. The housing segment has been resilient and is resisting the pandemic and it is transactions like this that show that Portugal remains attractive for foreign investors».
Eduardo Cerqueira also remarked that «in Portugal and abroad, from the housing to the logistic segments, 2021 has started well for Altamira Asset Management Portugal and, in one month and a half, it already carried out important and large operations», he concluded.
