The 16.3 million euro capital increase was a breath of fresh air for the REIT which managed to end year with a total 46 senior residences purchased.
Almagro Capital’s president Luis de Ulibarri explained that this capital increase «allowed us to increase our capital stock from €9M in January to more than €24M by the end of the year. In that sense, it should be noted that Almagro Capital has become one of the most liquid REITs listed at the MAB during its first year».
Besides investing and seeking bank financing, the REIT also sought to capitalize its free assets, highlighted the report concerning the fourth quarter of 2019 released at the Mercado Alternativo Bursátil.
After closing the «great» financial year of 2019, Almagro’s president guaranteed that «we face 2020 with the ambition to continue offering the best housing solutions in the city of Madrid, as well as the best yield/risk offers to our shareholders», which already total 150.
