The assets are located across all Spanish provinces. According to newspaper Expansión, Castellón is the province which holds the largest number of terrains – 15% of all the portfolio’s assets, followed by Valencia with around 9%, Toledo and Valladolid with 7%, A Coruña with 6%, Alicante with 4% and Barcelona with 3%.
Only 20% of the assets are destined for the industrial and tertiary segments. The vast majority of the terrains is directed at the housing segment and have the capacity to host up to 24.000 dwellings.
Aliseda is open to receiving bids until the last day of the year. This is a campaign directed at small local developers which includes payment facilities when purchasing the assets, this strategy aims to «aid the small developers by providing them time to close the projects’ financing», explained Adolfo Blázquez, director of terrains at Aliseda in an interview to newspaper Expansión. This model consists in paying only 5% of the asset’s value when acquiring it and the remaining until 2021.
