The companies now own this terrain, following a public auction carried out by Promotora Inmobiliaria del Este – Proinsa. The terrain cost around 57 million euro.
La Fortuna is part of the Estrategia del Sureste de Madrid (Southeast Madrid Strategy), according to EjePrime, for which 100.000 new dwellings are planned. In this Southeast area, starting in 2022, around 20.000 new buildings will be built, 2.500 of which in La Fortuna.
