The goal set for the whole year amounted to the purchase of land for 1,042 units, having reached, therefore, 182% during the first half of the year.
AEDAS Homes closed between January and June a total of 16 investments for an amount of €96.6 million in land located in 3 provinces in which it already operates, such as Madrid, Seville and Valencia, and in 2 new ones, Granada and Valladolid, whose management will depend on the territorial directorates of Andalusia and Center, respectively.
"Without doubt, these operations are the best example of the investment discipline of AEDAS Homes, based on the search and acquisition of opportunities that offer high profitability," says Sergio Gálvez, director of Strategy and Investment of the developer, who qualifies as «magnificent» the current moment for the acquisition of land.
The acquisitions made by AEDAS Homes have represented an investment in land per house of around €51,000, an amount that includes the costs of converting all the portfolio into 'ready to build'. By areas, the unit cost amounts to €69,100 in Madrid, €55,900 in Valencia, €55,500 in Valladolid, €50,700 in Granada and €36,800 in Seville.
As for the new areas in which AEDAS Homes has acquired its first land, the director of Strategy and Investment of the company highlights that these are markets in clear recovery and real estate expansion, both in volumes of transactions and in prices.
