There are differences between generations: if for 72% of Millenials, a modern design is ideal, for Baby Boomers it’s less important (57%). 67.5% of the total consider that the workspace design increase its productivity.
The study, whose fieldwork has been carried out by Experis, highlights that it is necessary to take into account the “Google” effect in the conception of the modern space among the youngest, in whose imaginary the offices with lounges, table football, hanging chairs, etc., constitute the new paradigm of modernity.
Also, more than 61% of the workers surveyed confirm that the type of building in which they work impacts their work performance. The new building and the classical / historic building renewed or refurbished are valued more, but most of the surveyed work in a new building of more than 10 years.
