Torre Rioja builds Roche’s future IT offices in Madrid
02 May 2019 | Observatorio Inmobiliario

Real estate developer Torre Rioja is building a new IT centre for pharmaceutical multinational Roche in Madrid.

This is a key in hand rental operation and the new facilities will be delivered during this year’s second semester.

This building is located in Inocenta de Mesa and Osiris streets, next to Madrid’s property register building and near the Banco de España. The area chosen, in the vicinity of Julián Camarillo, is becoming increasingly more consolidated as an area for technology and innovative companies. This area is particularly well connected and provisioned in terms of services, besides being near Torre Arias and la Quinta de los Molinos parks. It is currently attractive for companies looking for moderate rental prices without having to move to the suburbs. Torre Rioja, which already has other buildings and projects under development in the area, has worked closely with the renting company and real estate consultant CBRE to carry out this operation.

This real estate developer already has more than 120.000 sqm in the capital, and hosts in its buildings the headquarters of such relevant companies as AXA or BNP Paribas.

The Edificio Osiris building meets the highest technical demands in terms of energy efficiency, and it will offer the pharmaceutical company around 10.000 sqm and some 250 parking spots.
