Santander plans to sell €12.000M in real estate credits

Banco Santander is currently analysing the possibility of selling a real estate credit portfolio estimated at 12.000 million euro.


According to information gathered by El Confidencial from market sources, the aim of this operation is to improve Banco Santander’s NPL ratios in Spain.

The same sources indicate that Santander’s decision should be revealed in the coming Summer months and the identity of the consultant which will accompany the sale will be disclosed in the coming weeks.
