29 July 2019 | Vanessa Sousa

One of the steps asset management company Neinver will take in the future is to refurbish and reposition its shopping centre portfolio. This plan represents an estimated investment of up to 20 million euro.

Neinver manages 23 retail centres under the brand The Style Outlets, in Spain alone, but only 5 of them are part of its portfolio. These buildings are spread across the country in Madrid, Barcelona and A Coruña and, according to Eje Prime, have a total combined area of 540.000 sqm.

This is one of the items within the company’s investment plan for Europe, which includes investing between 80 and 100 million euro in refurbishing the company’s retail centres, and also investing between 225 and 250 million euro in developing its properties in Germany, Italy, Poland and Holland.

These plans represent a total investment which might reach 350 million euro and that should be executed between 2019 and 2022, according to the Spanish newspaper.
