One of the most important projects from developer Metrovacesa obtained the green light, this Thursday, at Madrid’s City Hall. The project is Ciudad Clesa, located north of Madrid, and where the company plans to invest 260 million euro.

The project’s name is not by chance. It is a diversified complex which will include commercial spaces, student residences, offices and even local accommodation services, advances Spanish newspaper El Confidencial. All these buildings will be built in an 88.702 sqm area next to the old Fábrica de Clesa factory, which ended its activity in 2012, and which should become a new cultural centre maintaining its architectural features.

Near the future Ciudad Clesa, is Hospital Ramón y Cajal as well as the Cercanías train station, which should build a direct line for the new complex, connecting it to the Spanish capital.
