Hammerson wants to sell outlets in Spain
19 June 2019 | Vanessa Sousa

British Hammerson is pondering the possibility of selling its shares on outlets located in Spain, if the offers are appropriate.

The outlets are the Las Rozas Village, located in Madrid, of which the company owns 38% and the La Roca Village in Barcelona, of which the company has a 41% share.

This decision was driven by the crisis in the United Kingdom and, on the other hand, by the need to pay the company’s debts, according to newspaper Expansión this Monday.

With these and other divestments, Hammerson expects to earn around 561 million euro.
