Goldman Sachs considers buying B&B Hotels

American bank Goldman Sachs is interested in buying French hotel chain B&B Hotels, which is estimated at 2.000 million euro.



According to Portuguese newspaper Negócios, the bank and B&B’s owner, PAI Partners, are negotiating the purchase of the hotel chain, which has a planned 70 million euro investment in Portugal. The operation might be concluded by this year’s second semester.

Currently, B&B has around 486 hotels around the world, 8 of which in Portugal. And it generated revenues of 580 million euro in 2018, mentioned the same release from PAI.
