The public affluence and the quality of the event were other factors the exhibitors remarked about this edition of SIMA Otoño which ended on the 27th of October at Madrid’s IFEMA.

Sources from SIMA collected the declarations of some of the exhibitors about this edition. Habitat Inmobiliaria’s communication manager, Noelia Sánchez, stated that «The SIMA events are a unique stage to show our offer in a condensed way, to know the clients’ needs and to feel the market’s pulse». Avanti Way’s partner, Pascual Guarente, assured that he was «very happy, both with the number of visitors and with the contacts established».

Gilmar’s communication manager, Javier Castellano, stated that «I personally take away from this fair the possibility it offers to exhibitors to get to know the client better and to understand what he is really seeking».

Some exhibitors coincided in praising the public affluence for being higher than expected, as was the case of Proel’s commercial director, Ramón Lledó, who said that «in terms of contacts and visits this was a very good edition, better than expected».

Many exhibitors also valued SIMA Otoño’s contribution to the branding goals.

The SDG debate, protagonist at SIMA Otoño

The meeting «The United Nations’ SDGs and their impact on the real estate business», which analysed how the «2030 Agenda» can help transform the sector and make it more sustainable, opened the SIMA Otoño on the 25th of October.

The meeting gathered a group of experts from different fields who reflected on the «transcendence of the SDGs, the opportunity they represent for the sector’s transformation and the trends the SDGs are setting in terms of international real estate investment and the financing of real estate companies and projects».

The real estate fair had a housing offer of 20.000 dwellings, with the Community of Madrid as the main protagonist.
