Spanish REIT Excem plans a €300 million capital increase to invest in the housing markets of the main Spanish cities. Barcelona and Valencia are on the company’s list of preferences, as well as Seville, Malaga, Bilbao and Vigo.

Aiming to add 4.000 beds to its Iberian housing portfolio, the company intends to replicate the rental model it introduced in Madrid and other Spanish cities.

This rental model from Excem is not destined to any potential interested party. Its assets are for shared rental and mainly directed at young professionals and college students.

In Madrid alone, the REIT has 8.000 sqm of housing areas for this market
