A new development is about to be born in the Portuguese city of Guimarães, Urbanização Cavalinho, which will require from Endutex group and its administrator Vítor Abreu an estimated investment of 60 million euro.

There are already several real estate projects that were announced by the group. Besides the construction of new dwellings – which occupy about 60% of the terrain and which also include students’ residences –, Endutex also plans to build a hotel, offices and commercial spaces.

The terrain for which the largest and most recent real estate investment in Guimarães is being projected is located at Dom João IV avenue, next to the city’s train station. For now, the project is still in its initial stage, but soon the second stage will start, the construction works. According to local newspaper «Guimarães, agora!», the urban development should be concluded in 2022.

Green areas are also guaranteed. According to the same newspaper, the existence of public spaces was one the city’s city hall demands to green light the project.

The purchase of the terrain alone, cost Endutex group 2.75 million euro.
