14 May 2019 | Vanessa Sousa

A new retail space will be created in the municipality of Sestao, in Bilbao. This new space should cost American food distribution giant Costco 40 million euro.

It will be built on a 40.000 sqm terrain, along with a parking lot for 750 vehicles, according to newspaper CincoDías.

This new store should open its doors during the first quarter of 2020. It fits Costco’s expansion strategy for Spain. According to the same newspaper, the American food distribution chain defined a goal for the next 15 years: to reach 50 stores in the country.
