29 May 2019 | Vanessa Sousa

American Cerberus Capital Management is about to create a new private equity fund.

According to Bloomberg, the company is already negotiating with investors in order to attract capital. Its goal is to attract around 2.677 million euro.

This will be the first fund of this type from the American giant, which, until now, operated in this field through multi-strategic funds, according to the same source.

Soon one of the largest transactions in Spanish territory will take place. Cerberus received three proposals this week – which are around 700 million euro – to buy Haya Real Estate from Italian fund doBank, American fund Centerbridge and Asian Centricus.

In Spain alone, the American fund has a portfolio estimated at 31.222 million euro.
