07 February 2020 | Ana Tavares

Mexican millionaire Carlos Slim has just acquired a 3.049% share of Metrovacesa, becoming one of the reference shareholders of the company controlled by Santander and BBVA.

The 4.62 million shares bought by Slim represent, at current prices, a 45 million euro investment, according to Expansión.

The deal took place only one month after Slim entered Quabit’s capital by buying a similar share of the company for around 5 million euro.
