17 October 2019 | Vanessa Sousa

520 million euro more will be invested in the Barcelona Metropolitan area, for the construction of 1.600 new dwellings. This investment will be carried out by German fund management company Aquila Capital.

A large part of this amount – 440 million euro – will be used in two developments. One is located at La Marina del Prat Vermell, and it will have 620 dwellings. The other will be located at Viladecans, and it will have 630 dwellings, according to newspaper Eje Prime.

The remaining 80 million euro will be used to develop other projects spread across several municipalities, such as L’Hospitalet, where the management company plans to develop 124 dwellings; Sant Cugat, which should host a 39 floor building; and Santa Perpètua de la Mogoda, which will receive 230 new dwellings.
