BPI Gestão de Activos, formed on July 20, 1990, is a Securities Investment Fund Management Company (SGFIM) that was born as part of the BPI Group. Following the takeover of BPI by Caixabank, in February 2017, Banco BPI sold, on April 13, 2018, the entire stake in BPI Gestão de Activos to CaixaBank Asset Management, an entity of the responsible Group for asset and investment fund management and which is 100% owned by CaixaBank. BPI Gestão de Activos is thus part of the Caixabank Group.

BPI Gestão de Activos has its position cemented in the national market, being one of the largest financial asset managers in Portugal. With more than 10 billion euros in assets under management as of December 31, 2018, it has a professional and experienced team, fully focused on the needs of its Clients and that guarantees, at all times, a quality offer.

Together with BPI Vida e Pensões and BPI Global Investment Fund (Luxembourg), it offers more than 50 savings, investment and retirement products, including domestic and domiciled funds in Luxembourg, capitalization insurance and pension funds, also offering a service of Portfolio Management aimed at Private Banking, companies, pension funds and institutional clients.

BPI Gestão de Activos' strategy is based on adapting the offer and managed portfolios to market conditions, so that, over time, it can choose different combinations of products and exposures to the various financial risks to which the portfolios are naturally exposed.
