In 2014 the Group decided to start up a new area under the umbrella of Altamar Capital Partners. This was Altamar Advisory Partners, whose mission was to provide independent financial advisory and merchant banking services.

Altamar Advisory Partners benefits from a special position, as partner/adviser, and a unique profile combining initiative, independence, experience, investment capacity, access to investors and a talented team which enables it to generate value and build trust while providing unique and exclusive services to clients.

Altamar Advisory Partners was founded with the aim of providing top-notch advisory and execution services, in which it plays a significant role in transactions involving family office and/or venture capital funds.

Altamar Advisory Partners has the capacity to carry out merchant bank functions thanks to its access to nearly €350MM dedicated to co-investments/direct Group investments through the funds.

Altamar Advisory Partners also has a competitive advantage in Latin America thanks to a presence in Chile since 2009 and its own office since 2011, and Altamar Capital Partners’ collaboration agreement with LarrainVial. This is the most important investment bank in the Latin American Integrated Market (Market Integrado Latinoamericano or MILA) and a Chilean leader in IPOs, capital raising, bond issuances and mergers and acquisitions.
